I grew up in Northeast Ohio and pitched at Kent State University. I got there because of one lucky matchup — one person who happened to see me at the right moment. Most kids don't get that moment. Not because they don't have the talent, but because nobody ever gave them the roadmap.

I now teach pitching lessons at a facility run by former MLB players and D1 coaches.
